The photographs in the Nicholas V. Artamonoff Collection held by ICFA were identified by Günder Varinlioğlu, former Byzantine Assistant Curator of ICFA. The photographs in the Nicholas V. Artamonoff Collection held by the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery Archives were identified by William J. Harper, Master's Student at Koç University, Department of Archaeology and the History of Art. Some descriptions were provided by the photographer, though these identifications often included errors and misspellings, which were edited and corrected.
