Artamonoff: Picturing Byzantine Istanbul, 1930-1947 was exhibited at the Koç University Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (RCAC) in Istanbul from June 25 to November 10, 2013. The exhibit was prepared by Dr. Günder Varinlioğlu, Curator, with Aly DesRochers, Assistant Curator, Dr. Buket Coşkuner and Şeyda Çetin, Project Coordination, Ersu Pekin, Exhibition Design, and ORA Reklam Hizmerleri A.Ş., Exhibition Production. On display were photographs from the the Image Collections and Fieldwork Archives (ICFA) of Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection and the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery Archives of the Smithsonian Institution, and photographs and archival materials from Robert College in Istanbul. It was presented within the scope of the Third International Sevgi Gönül Byzantine Studies Symposium, held at RCAC from June 24-27, 2013. An exhibition catalog, edited by Varinlioğlu and printed by the Koç University Press, was also prepared.
