Courtyard of the Koca Mustafa Paşa Camii (St. Andrew in Krisei), December 1935.

A long dead cypress tree, surrounded by a small wooden building, is still the most prominent feature in the courtyard. A tradition dating to the Ottoman era states that a chain hanging from the tree (not visible) can be used as a lie detector.
